Nick Alfano is executive vice president and general manager of Global Food & Beverage (F&B) for Ecolab Inc.

In his current position, Alfano is responsible for leading the Global F&B processing business. Previously, Alfano served as senior vice president and general manager for the company's North America F&B business. Earlier, Alfano led Global F&B Corporate Accounts and the F&B marketing function. Prior to joining Ecolab, he held multiple leadership positions, including Director of Marketing for the Global Paper and Water Treatment Chemical Business Unit, at Calgon Corporation, a subsidiary of Merck and Co.

Alfano serves on the board of directors of the International Dairy Foods Association, which represents the nation's dairy manufacturing and marketing industry. He is also the Parks and Natural Resources Commissioner for the city of Woodbury, Minn.

Alfano graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He earned his master's Business Administration from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
